Costa Mesa, CA-Patient financing company CareCredit is pledging to work more closely with ophthalmologists with its new CareCredit Ophthalmic Practice Advisory Board.

The 15-member board includes American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators' (ASOA) founder Lucy Santiago and Markey Ratliff of John Kenyon Eye Center in Jeffersonville, IN.

The board will help create programs and tools to increase practices' business success in the refractive market.

The group held its first meeting during ASOA's annual meeting in Washington, DC, earlier this year.
