Costa Mesa, CA-During the recent American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) annual meeting, CareCredit, a GE Money company, provided practices with strategies for maximizing patient conversions presented by leading practice management consultants in a series of 10-minute educational speed sessions held at its booth.

CareCredit's daily 10-minute speed sessions featured consultants dispensing personalized advice on effective patient conversions. Topics included conversion techniques on LASIK and using IOLs for treating presbyopia. Presenters included Shareef Mahdavi, president of SM2 Consulting; Mike Malley, president of CRM Group; and Bill Rabourn, president of Medical Consulting Group.

"This is the second year we've held speed sessions at ASCRS. They've become very popular because in a short 10-minute timeframe you can get real-world, practical ideas that you can implement immediately," said Tony Seymour, senior vice president, Practice Development, CareCredit.
