Rochester, NY-Recognizing October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bausch & Lomb (B&L) invites contact lens wearers across the United States to take an active role in the fight against breast cancer.

During October, B&L is marketing a limited edition "pink" package of its ReNu MultiPlus multi-purpose contact lens solution that features the Susan G. Komen for the Cure logo and a pink contact lens case in support of commitment to a cure. The ReNu MultiPlus special edition package is available through Oct. 31 at mass market, grocery, and drug store retailers nationwide.

B&L has pledged to donate 10% of retail sales of these specially marked packages, or $0.75 per box, toward a donation goal of $375,000. Regardless of sales, B&L has committed to a minimum donation of $250,000 toward the fight against a disease that affects one in eight women in the U.S.
