B&L diversity initiatives commended by Latino media

Bausch & Lomb's (B&L's) commitment to diversity and workplace inclusion has earned the company honors from the magazines Hispanic Business and Latina Style.

Rochester, NY-Bausch & Lomb's (B&L's) commitment to diversity and workplace inclusion has earned the company honors from the magazines Hispanic Business and Latina Style.

B&L is one of 60 companies included in the Hispanic Business Diversity Elite 2007 list, recognizing the best companies for Hispanic employees. Organizations were ranked using 30 variables including hiring, promotion, marketing, and diversity goals. The winning companies appear in the September issue.

Also, B&L received an honorable mention in Latina Style's annual "50 Best Companies for Latinas," a ranking of companies that provide the best career opportunities for Latinas. Criteria include the number of Latina executives, mentoring programs, educational opportunities, alternative work policies, dependent or child care support, employee benefits, women's issues, and affinity groups.
