ARVO installs new presidential officers

Fort Lauderdale, FL-During its annual meeting in May, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) installed Frederick L. Ferris III, MD, as the organization's new president, succeeding Larry J. Takemoto, PhD.

Dr. Organisciak, chairman, department of biochemistry and molecular biology, and director, Petticrew Research Laboratory, Wright State University, Dayton, OH, has served as the trustee for the biochemistry and molecular biology section and is chairman of ARVO's members-in-training committee.
