AMO, B&L enter into phaco patent agreement
Santa Ana, CA, and Rochester, NY-Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) and Bausch & Lomb (B&L) have entered into an agreement regarding AMO’s patent (# 6,059,765) entitled “Fluid Management Systems with Vertex Chamber” and its foreign counterparts, all of which relate to peristaltic pump fluidics used in phacoemulsification systems.
Santa Ana, CA, and Rochester, NY-Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) and Bausch & Lomb (B&L) have entered into an agreement regarding AMO’s patent (# 6,059,765) entitled “Fluid Management Systems with Vertex Chamber” and its foreign counterparts, all of which relate to peristaltic pump fluidics used in phacoemulsification systems.
Under the terms of the agreement, B&L will pay AMO a royalty. Other terms were not disclosed.
