Fort Lauderdale, FL-ABB Optical has launched http://www.yourlens.com/, a contact lens reorder Web site designed to help ABB accounts retain patients who prefer to order replacement lenses online.

The site enables patients to reorder soft contact lenses from their eye practitioner at any time of day or any day of the week, at prices specified by the practitioner. The lenses are shipped directly to patients.

Lens reorders via http://www.yourlens.com/ involve no administrative work by the practitioner's office staff to place orders, handle lenses, or collect funds. Patients pay by credit card when they order lenses. Eye-care professionals using the exclusive ABB service receive a monthly activity report and check for the difference between their normal cost-of-goods for the lenses ordered during the month by patients and monthly online retail sales, less credit card fees.

There is no cost to enroll in this new ABB service.
