AAO presents Lifetime Achievement Honor Awards

Thirteen ophthalmologists were presented with the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Lifetime Achievement Honor Awards for their contributions to the academy and the ophthalmology profession.

Contributions include serving as an instructor, authoringscientific papers and posters, presenting scientific exhibits,chairing a subspecialty day, serving as a committee member, statesociety president, or trustee, and authoring or co-authoringacademy educational materials.
