AAO bestows highest honor on three outstanding ophthalmologists

During the opening session of the annual meetingof the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Charles D. Kelman, MD, RobertMachemer, MD, and Charles L. Schepens, MD, received the highest award-theLaureate Award-for their significant contributions to the science of ophthalmology.This is the first time the award has been given.
