yourlens site updated

ABB Concise has changed its www.yourlens.com contact lens Web site to increase eye-care information for patients and add a new doctor locator search engine.

Coral Springs, FL-ABB Concise has changed its yourlens.com contact lens Web site to increase eye-care information for patients and add a new doctor locator search engine.

According to ABB Concise, patients who are ready to order on the Web site now will be able to access a large directory of local eye-care professionals and links to their yourlens.com-powered Web stores.

ABB Concise says that its new Web site provides eye-care professionals a response to the industry’s growing online competition by lowering their transaction costs and making it easier for their patients to obtain lenses. According to ABB Concise, its yourlens.com service provides its accounts with an Internet reorder functionality that is easy to graft onto existing practice Web sites in a transparent manner. The service also can be used as a stand-alone Internet reorder site.

Other free Web store enhancements include patient enrollment, a find-a-doctor feature, exam recall reminders, patient activity reports, and an auto-shipping feature. Free upgrades to existing Web stores include a personalized template that allows eye-care professionals to customize their Web sites with original photos, graphics, and ads; easy editorial control; and electronic prescription verification.
