Volunteer registry focuses on eye care

The Web site offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. Some include joining a medical mission coordinated by a U.S.-based organization; going to a clinic or hospital in developing countries to examine patients, perform surgery, or teach local physicians and students; or becoming a telemedicine volunteer and providing e-consultations to patients and colleagues who are in another country or continent.
