Transitions, Sterling Optical promote eye safety

New York–Transitions Optical Inc. and Sterling Optical promoted awareness of the harmful effects of ultraviolet light during activities that preceded the second annual More Marathon in New York City.

New York–Transitions Optical Inc. and Sterling Optical promoted awareness of the harmful effects of ultraviolet light during activities that preceded the second annual More Marathon in New York City.

More than 3,500 women over 40 participated in the marathon, sponsored by More magazine. Company volunteers handed out Transitions education materials and sunscreen at registration, and offered a prize drawing of a spa package and $50 off Transitions lenses.

Even Mr. Magoo, with his legendary vision impairment, stopped by the booth.
