Sneak in, out to protect filtering bleb during cataract surgery
Astoria, NY-When performing cataract surgery in an eye with a functioning filtering bleb, measures must be taken intraoperatively and postoperatively in those cases that may be complicated. Richard J. Mackool, MD, described how to perform as gentle a cataract extraction as possible in these fragile eyes.
