Sine-wave test more accurate than Snellen chart to assess contrast sensitivity
Philadelphia-Assessment of contrast sensitivity is essential in order for ophthalmologists to understand their patients' func- tional vision, and sine-wave gratings re-present the best tool for measuring contrast sensitivity, said Arthur P. Ginsburg, PhD, at the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
