Silicone toric lens outperforms AK for mild astigmatism

Ithaca, NY-Implantation of the foldable silicone toric IOL (STAAR Surgical) offers a good method for astigmatism correction in cataract surgery patients with up to about 2.5 D of cylinder, according to a retrospective study conducted by Robert J. Arleo, MD.
