Refractive surgeons need to understand wavefront analysis
Chicago-Wavefront analysis is bringing refractive surgery into an entirely new realm where practitioners will need to become knowledgeable in interpreting the wavefront maps. First, however, researchers must improve their understanding of the clinical significance of optical aberrations and how they are affected by treatment, said Manus C. Kraff, MD.
