Primary therapy with SLT has potential for durable efficacy
Boston-Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) is safe and effective as initial treatment for primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) or pseudoexfoliation (PXF) glaucoma, and it can maintain IOP control in some eyes for 30 months or longer, said Mark A. Latina, MD.
