PEDF may help to inhibit retinal neovascularization
Berlin-Pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF), a major anti-angiogenic growth factor, may be a key element in the inhibition of retinal neovascularization in humans, according to investigators from Germany headed by Joachim Spranger, MD.
