Chicago-This summer, children across the United States have a chance to win a $25,000 scholarship and become the face of Star Pupils, the national children’s eye health program from Prevent Blindness America (PBA).

Beginning in August, PBA will begin accepting entries in its Most Beautiful Eyes contest. Parents of children zero to 17 years old can enter their child by submitting a photo to the Star Pupils page on Facebook.

The winners will be determined through two rounds of voting. During the first round, the public will be encouraged to select their favorite contestant by voting through the Facebook page. The contestants with the most votes will advance to the second round, where PBA staff and celebrity judges will then select the three finalists and the contest winner. The winner will be announced at PBA’s annual dinner on Nov. 18.

The contest is being sponsored by Marchon Eyewear and Advantica.
