Optos and Eyemaginations join operations

Optos announced a partnership with Eyemaginations Inc.

Marlborugh, MA-Optos announced a partnership with Eyemaginations Inc. The merger will allow both companies to deliver high-quality patient education materials to eye-care professionals.

"We are pleased to partner with Eyemaginations as both companies are committed to educating patients about eye health and overall systemic health," said Tom Daniells, vice president, marketing. "Eyemaginations' creative animation expertise will help us further illustrate important information to patients about the health of their retina and management of eye disease."

Eyemaginations has incorporated Optos' latest version of its proprietary software (V2 Vantage), which will offer educational animations as quick links to all current and new Optos partners as part of its software program.

The animations will help practitioners show patients about eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, glaucoma, and choroidal nevi, which will help patients understand the importance of protecting their retinal health.
