Bacon Raton, FL-Veterans and active-duty military members can receive NovaVision's VRT treatment at the Tampa Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center.

Many active military members and veterans have suffered vision loss due to traumatic brain injury and stroke. The Tampa rehabilitation center is the only veterans' institution to provide NovaVision's treatment which is cleared by the FDA.

Each case of vision loss is different which is why the center diagnoses whether NovaVision VRT is appropriate. Those who qualify undergo comprehensive diagnostic testing to map their seeing and blind areas. Based on their deficits they receive a customized therapy program to perform daily at home for about 6 months.
