New vision, products available from OIS

Ophthalmic Imaging Systems has changed its corporate vision with a new name and changes to its diagnostic imaging products.

Sacramento, CA-Ophthalmic Imaging Systems has changed its corporate vision with a new name and changes to its diagnostic imaging products. The company, now known as OIS, also has implemented a new slogan: "From capture to connectivity," said Gil Allon, chief executive officer.

The company's newest product offerings, demonstrated at this year's annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, reflect improvements to its ophthalmic picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and informatics:
