LASIK safe and useful in post-RD eyes

LASIK can be safe and effective for correcting refractive error in eyeswith previous retinal detachment (RD) surgery, although alternative proceduresmay need to be considered as obtaining adequate microkeratome suction tocreate the lamellar cut may sometimes be a challenge, said Irina S.
