Glaucoma awareness hits the airwaves

Pfizer Ophthalmics is raising awareness of the disease that steals sight without warning by offering an educational radio communication to the public.

Because half of the 2 million Americans that have glaucoma remain undiagnosed, Pfizer Ophthalmics is raising awareness of the disease that steals sight without warning by offering an educational radio communication to the public.

The communication, sent to various radio stations nationwide during January, which is Glaucoma Awareness Month, is intended to stress the importance of having regular eye examinations, particularly for those who are at risk for glaucoma.
