Full-time patching no better than part-time in treatment of severe amblyopia
When combined with 1 hour of near activity, prescribing 6 hours of patchingappears to be as effective as prescribing full-time patching in childrenages 3 to <7 years of age with severe amblyopia, said Jonathan M. Holmes,MD, discussing the very recently published results from the Pediatric EyeDisease Investigator Group.
