Washington, DC-The FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health has unveiled a new Web page to offer comprehensive information about contact lenses.

The goal of this new Web site is to centralize all current contact lens information to offer one-stop access to the latest information about contact lenses. It provides up-to-date information about different types of contact lenses, how to get a prescription from your eye care professional, and tips for buying lenses. In addition, the site also provides guidelines for proper use and everyday eye care.

Physicians and patients alike can access the site at http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/contactlenses/. E-mail updates are available to registered users.
