FDA approves generic equivalent to ophthalmic ointment
The FDA has approved Akorn Inc.'s abbreviated new drug application for neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates, and bacitracin zinc ophthalmic ointment USP, a generic therapeutic equivalent to Monarch Pharmaceuticals' Neosporin ophthalmic ointment.
