Curie's Discovery of Radioactivity Helps Ophthalmic Field

Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation are three options for the treatment of malignant tumors today. Surgery is a therapy that dates back to the Stone Age; chemotherapy is approximately 50 years old. The topic of this month's ophthalmic vignette pertains to the discovery of radiation.
