Fairport, NY-CooperVision announced that more than 1 million customer orders have been placed and fulfilled online through its MyCooperVision e-commerce site since its introduction in 2004. The site is located at http://www.mycoopervision.com/.

CooperVision launched MyCooperVision, an online business-to-business customer service center, to provide eye-care practitioners with an easier, effective way to order products and review account transactions. There are currently more than 20,000 registered users of MyCooperVision. MyCooperVision features convenient and secure online ordering, including trial lenses and access to helpful account information, such as shipment tracking, invoice lookup, payment history, and product bank balances. Both practitioners and patients benefit from the option of direct delivery service that enables a practitioner to have an order shipped directly to a patient's home address.

"CooperVision is dedicated to maintaining an enhanced e-commerce system because we believe in enhancing every patient's contact-lens-wearing experience, as well as the eye care practitioner's ability to conduct business in the most efficient way possible," said Mark Bertolin, director of eCommerce, CooperVision. "We believe that providing our customers with access to significant online resources can make a positive difference in the profitability and efficiency of their practice.
