Complication rate is low for iris-supported phakic IOL

Haren, the Netherlands-Implantation of the iris-supported Artisan Phakic Intraocular Lens (PIOL) (Ophtec bv, Groningen, the Netherlands) can be complicated in the hands of surgeons who are unfamiliar with this lens and the special surgical technique used to implant it.
