Combination system provides extra protection

Nashville, TN—DuoVisc (Alcon Laboratories), a combination product that provides one unit of 0.35 ml Viscoat viscoelastic solution (3% sodium hyaluronate/chondroitin sulfate), a dispersive viscoelastic, and one unit of 0.40 ml ProVisc (1% sodium hyaluronate), a cohesive viscoelastic, allows surgeons to protect the endothelium, open spaces in the eye, and implant IOLs with ease.
