Silverstein, PhD, provided a brief and interesting history of ARVOduring the 75th Anniversary Keynote Symposium on Sunday afternoon. He explainedhow the Association of Research in Ophthalmology (ARVO's name then) grewfrom a small club to the largest organization in vision research.
