ARVO Foundation changes its name

Rockville, MD—The ARVO Foundation, which supports the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), has changed its name to The ARVO Foundation for Eye Research.

Rockville, MD-The ARVO Foundation, which supports the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), has changed its name to The ARVO Foundation for Eye Research.

The group said it changed the name to reflect its mission to assure the future of vision research.

The foundation provides continuing education and support for original and innovative vision research, with an emphasis on collaborations between clinicians and basic scientists, as well as training for new vision research scientists.
