Viscoadaptive solution creates, maintains intraocular space
MultiVisc viscoadaptive solution (BD Ophthalmic Systems), an ophthalmic viscosurgical device (OVD) for cataract surgery and IOL implantation, is well liked by surgeons because it creates and maintains an intraocular space and maintains a deep anterior chamber during surgery. In addition, it is highly cohesive, which facilitates its removal from the eye.
