Review course targets practice administrators

San Francisco—The American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) will offer a day of Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) review courses on March 17, and a paper test on March 21, for ophthalmic administrators seeking to earn the COE credential.

San Francisco-The American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) will offer a day of Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) review courses on March 17, and a paper test on March 21, for ophthalmic administrators seeking to earn the COE credential.

Applicants with at least 3 years of medical practice administration experience, including at least 1 year in ophthalmic practice management, may register for the events by visiting http://www.asoa.org/, or contacting Susan Younker at 703/591-2221 or syounker@asoa.org
.

The courses, held in San Francisco's Marriott Hotel, include four 2-hour sessions to review finance and accounting, operations, human resources, and risk management and regulatory compliance. A second session covers the same material in two 4-hour sessions.
