Plentiful in spinach: Lutein helps protect eyes, doctors say in survey
Des Moines, IA-More than 90% of ophthalmologists and optometrists included in a recent survey believe lutein, a major carotenoid present in the retinas of healthy eyes and found naturally in spinach and kale, can help prevent eye disease.
