Medical error reporting can be effective and non-punitive, according to medical society
Baltimore-MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society, is taking a proactive stance on reporting of medical errors in the hopes of generating quality reform for patient safety, reported MedChi Executive Director Michael Preston, JD, at the Current Concepts in Ophthalmology meeting, sponsored by Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
