Essilor grant helps student with French

Dallas—Essilor of America has given Susan Quaye, a junior at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth a chance to study for a month in France. Under the Essilor of America Inc. Study Grant, Quaye, a native of Ghana, West Africa, was able to study at the Universit? de Caen for 4 weeks.

Dallas-Essilor of America has given Susan Quaye, a junior at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth a chance to study for a month in France. Under the Essilor of America Inc. Study Grant, Quaye, a native of Ghana, West Africa, was able to study at the Université de Caen for 4 weeks.

The psychology and pre-med major, who has lived in the United States for about 3 years, speaks three different Ghanaian languages with her family, most of whom are still in Ghana.

"After I graduate from TCU and medical school, I hope to return to my home country and use the French language to become a doctor for the United Nations," Quaye said.
