Dry eye syndrome a reality for millions of women
The prevalence of dry eye syndrome among women is high, according to recent research. One study published in the August 2003 issue of the American Journal of Ophthalmology indicated that 5.7% of women under age 50 and 9.5% of women age 75 and older were affected.
