April 18 - Washington, DC - WaveLight Inc. and SurgiVision Consultants Inc. of Scottsdale, AZ, introduce an exclusive new service for users of the Allegretto Wave excimer laser system.

SurgiVision DataLink (WaveLight Edition) allows surgeons to access a secure database to customize their own nomograms and compare their surgical outcomes against those of the broader Allegretto Wave user community. WaveLight is the first known laser manufacturer to provide a data processing and benchmarking tool of this scale its physician customers, according to the company.

"We designed this program to offer ultimate ease-of-use and flexibility for the physicians-to design a starting nomogram, to make micro-adjustments to existing nomograms and to share data anonymously-as a tool to improve their own surgical outcomes and benefit from the collective exchange of reliable data," said Guy M. Kezirian, MD, FACS, president and founder of SurgiVision Consultants Inc., in a prepared statement.
