Toric phakic IOL may be alternative for treating keratoconus
The toric phakic ICL (STAAR Surgical) may be a surgical option for carefullyselected patients with keratoconus who have had a stable refraction forabout 3 years and a maximum cylinder of 4 D, reported Juan F. Batlle, MD,during the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) annualmeeting.
