Soft punctal plugs ease dry eye after laser-vision correction

Charleston, WV-Findings of a bilateral comparison study evaluating prophylactic punctal occlusion in patients undergoing laser- vision correction surgery indicate soft plugs (Soft Plug-SA, Oasis Medical) may provide greater comfort and for a longer duration than standard collagen plugs.
