Miami-Advances in retinal imaging during the last 10 years have expanded the understanding of the pathogenesis of macular diseases, refined and facilitated earlier diagnoses, and in the near future, will allow surgeons to design highly specific treatments, according to Carmen Puliafito, MD, MBA.
