Norman B. Medow is director of pediatric ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, and chairman of the Museum of Vision at The Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Ida Mann was born in London, England in 1893, the daughter of a postal-clerk father and a mother who had a strong family history of farming.
