Bozeman, MT-Ophthalmic clinical application specialists Cynthia Kendall, CDOS, ROUB, and Cathy DiBernardo, CDOS, ROUB, have joined the Quantel USA Inc. medical division. They will create new customer clinical education programs and train sales representatives in relation to the diagnostic ocular ultrasound systems and surgical lasers developed and marketed by the company.

“The establishment of the field support team and these key hires for clinical applications are the next step in our development of the U.S. organization,” said Peter Falzon, general manager of the division. “During the remainder of 2012, we will be growing the organization with the addition of a nationwide sales team.”

The company expects the expansion of the organization to result in improved response times when customers require support. Service support includes a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, as well as a loaner program if a piece of equipment must be returned for repair.
