President-elect praises membership, looks to future for residents

In his president-elect address, Allan D. Jensen, MD, lauded themany strengths of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) as an advocatefor education. However, Dr. Jensen expressed concern over the challengesthat face ophthalmology and their effect on residency training programs.
