PixelOptics adds new distributor

PixelOptics and Midland Laboratories of St. Louis, MO, have signed a distribution agreement that makes Midland Laboratories part of the emPower limited lab network in the United States.

Roanoke, VA-PixelOptics and Midland Laboratories of St. Louis, MO, have signed a distribution agreement that makes Midland Laboratories part of the emPower limited lab network in the United States.

“This partnership ensures that PixelOptics will have the sales coverage necessary to support successfully the emPower rollout in the Midwest United States,” said Larry Rodriguez, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for PixelOptics.

Midland representatives will participate in comprehensive training by the PixelOptics support team to manage expected demand for emPower in the Midwest. Sales representatives will receive in-depth technical training on emPower, including presentation and product demonstration techniques. Lab operators will benefit from in-depth sessions on topics including lens processing, edging, mounting, verification, and testing.

The world's first electronic focusing corrective eyeglasses, PixelOptics feature a transparent liquid crystal layer in each lens that can electronically change and activate the near-focus lens only when needed.
