OCULUS Surgical launched ImproVue ophthalmic lubricant drops for topical use to hydrate and lubricate the outer surface of the eye.

Chicago-OCULUS Surgical launched ImproVue ophthalmic lubricant drops for topical use to hydrate and lubricate the outer surface of the eye.

The product is a preservative-free, 1.7% hypromellose solution, packaged in single-use, sterile syringe with cannula for convenient and easy application.

“There is a strong demand among our customer base of vitreoretinal surgeons for a preservative-free product that is indicated for topical use to hydrate and lubricate the outer surface of the eye,” said Ron Gilliland, president and chief executive officer, OCULUS Surgical.

The lubricant eye drops are available now for shipping to customers in the United States, according to the company.
