A new angle on small incision

Dr Robert H. Osher, MD, demonstrated a new range of micro scissors and forceps showcased for the first time in Europe by Geuder. The line of modular instruments for small incision surgeries has been designed in collaboration with Dr Osher. The series of seven capsule forceps and five capsule scissors provide access to a variety of meridia inside the eye, with tips angled from straight through 45 to 90 degrees, horizontal and vertical.

"I do a lot of iris reconstruction. In the past I could never work through a real small incision, because I can't get the scissors in or cut at the right angle, " said Dr Osher. "These instruments give me the opportunity to be able to work around the eye in a vertical plane or a horizontal plane and I am very appreciative of Geuder. Other companies have tried this in the United States and nobody could make them, " he said.
