Towson, MD-Eyemaginations Inc. has formed a strategic marketing alliance with eyeonics inc., Aliso Viejo, CA, focusing on education and marketing for patients with cataract.

“This initiative enables eyeonics to continue to deliver practice-building tools and solutions for our surgeons,” said Mike Judy, vice president of marketing for eyeonics. “The 3D-Eye Office software program offers an effective way for our doctors and staff members to illustrate the features of the new crystalens Five-O accommodative IOL technology.”

Additionally, Judy said, Eyemaginations animation will help eyeonics improve patient understanding of presbyopia and cataract surgery, which ultimately should improve patient satisfaction.

Jeff Peres, chief executive officer of Eyemaginations, said, “We are committed to working with leading companies to help communicate with the large universe of patients [who] struggle to understand the options that are available. Working with eyeonics represents an opportunity to provide their physician base with the appropriate 3D visuals to effectively represent the crystalens technology to patients in a new and exciting way.”
